Kinesiology is a broad field of study and practice. It covers aspects of human movement, including muscular strength, mobility and flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, posture and body position, and more. Zen Kinesiology offers services to improve strength and fitness for a range of personal or health goals, including improving physical performance, rehabilitation, increasing strength and power, and managing certain chronic diseases.
Understanding Zen Kin's Philosophy
Zen Kinesiology was founded by Austen Zentner, a local farm kid and World Jr. Championships of Powerlifting competitor. These two aspects of Austen's life have greatly shaped the way he views the world and his kinesiology practice. With an overarching philosophy that strength is never a weakness, Austen believes in the power of simple work done with excruciating efficiency and perfect execution.

What are the benefits of movement?
There is an ever-growing list of benefits associated with movement and exercise. We all know that exercise improves heart health, reduces pain associated with arthritis, improves strength, and more. But what about the specific benefits to you and your life?
For athletes: more power, better work capacity, harder hits and stronger shots.
For grandparents: more time spent at play with your grandkids, less pain in your knees when gardening, and more independence in your daily life.
For everyone: more strength, more mobility, and the pride that comes with taking care of your body.
"Strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general." - Mark Rippetoe, Founder, Starting Strength
